@RobertArthur I read about that this morning - it sounded horrendous, particularly when you look at the number of people who finish .... or the number that don't make it ! A real feat of endurance - it would be nice to see it back again !

Little Siberia behind the dikes, January 18 1963, only black and white, not too many other colors, with the music of today. Start rather early, 5.30 am, -16 °C, many cracks in the ice, 200 km to go. Those who completed the tour, only 126, how to survive the elements, were proud of it.
