She's small, quick, fun, comfortable, convertible on all of half-a-dozen days per year and totally impracticable for carting plants or passengers around

I usually drive an Opel transit van (beware woman with van!), but we have a 12 yr old "family" Subaru Forester which I adore. A client in America says his son works for a Subaru Salesroom over there and the Foresters have an interesting reputation - they imply that they are usually driven by lesbians!
