Who actually selects the candidates? My guess is its corporate vested interests who expect favours in return.

Come to think of it, that might be what's going on in UK as well.

History repeating itself, just reminisce Carter, who did not have sexual relations with that woman, Nixon and his Watergate, the place is corrupt from the top down and always has and will be.

Calling Time on Trump reminded me of an article recently in the paper where a lady barrister bought a scottish castle. The castle was originally built by a wealthy family of in-laws who hated the owner who was a widow of the head of family. Conditionally the castle must not be built on the family estate. The castle clock tower had only three clock faces, there being none on the side facing the family estate. The widow declared it was so as she wouldn't give the family the time of day. That's a bit like how I feel about Trump
