This forum is getting quieter by the day but I've had 28 applications to join this morning - I think the spammers have finally found us.

I think forums often go quiet in summer as people are away or have other activities.
When we go on holiday, we don't have internet or smartphones nor do we chat to friends and family. They'll hear about our holiday on our return !!

Agree with Blaze. I think when the weather is nice, people are busy outside or on vacation.

No I know that I'm out and about busy during the summer - I just thought it was amusing that during the quiet part of the year I was inundated with new members, t'was all.
I think something's gone awry with stop forum spam, which usually stops them getting to the forum.
'tis scorching hot at the moment so I think after lunch it's going to be me indoors, so I'll have a chance to have a look at what's happened then.

I'm all forumed out.
I've done cats,dogs,electrical things,silk trees,dung heaps & spuds,interviews,bamboo,weeds, drones,leccy cars, blah,blah ,blah.
Dunno what else to bore you with unless you're interested in the spot I think is just beginning to appear on my bum

I've always noticed that forums go quiet over the summer.

And I am busy with Wimbledon & missing Rafa!!

They do - I just found it funny about the spammers, if they'd tried to join when we were busy they might have got through. But picking this time of year they've got themselves deleted.
