There's a fair bit of aggro on forums recently. I have just been banned from a regional one where I have been a member from day one. The original owner sold it on to a couple of right wing moderators that take offense to anyone who dares criticise UK Conservatives or any one of a group of about half a dozen forum elite. Freedom of speech is dying and fascist attitudes have taken over. People who are banned are given no warning and no explanation of why they are banned. No communication at all. Just like the scenario when the old Anglomissinfo went down the pan.

That reminds me of a happening on probably the same forum but yonks ago;
I was posting that the few graduates that I'd interviewed for jobs all had weak handshakes & didn't look me in the eye.
That was taken as I said 'all graduates have weak handshakes etc' by one mod & it all got a bit silly after that with the mod refusing to accept what was in black & white on his forum.
The owner told me I was arguing & I replied "no, just putting the record straight"
He then told me I could continue posting if I promised not to argue.
I told him to shove his forum where the sun don't shine.
