If you want a good laugh

I await the Fatwa - like on Salman Rushdie - from the Iranian ayatollahs.

He has put a lot of other people besides himself in greater danger now - something I do not think he has the right to do - even in his own little world.

I really worry this will not end well. I happen to have a copy of "A King's Story" ( the memoirs of the Duke of Windsor). In the forward he writes that it is 15 years since the abdication and only now is it possible to write his version of events "after the political passions have long since cooled". I fear it is too soon for Harry's side of the story. The disaster in Afghanistan isn't over, the Queen is recently dead and her successor is yet to be crowned. Harry seems to me to be a deeply damaged man and I understand his need for validation but the best thing for him to do would be to have some quiet time with his new family. I think he has been ill advised to publish a 'tell all' now, when the pain is still raw. Given time and perspective I think he will come to regret his rush to candor. It can only serve to drive a bigger wedge between him and the rest of the Royal family. And if he thought he'd had a bad press before........

It has been suggested that, for whatever reasons, he has burned bridges with friends who might have been able to provide him with reasoned counsel and a sensible proofreading service and instead surrounded himself with others of a similar mindset.
