I find it puzzling why that website we all know and love that tells what the current prices are at all the stations makes no indication when they run out.

That would save time and wasted fuel driving around looking for a top up.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

I have found that stations which have run out are not listed, and not shown on the map.
This is, of course, provided the stations have submitted in their daily report. So beware of those which don't show at least 1 or 2 days previous.

What is this website "we all know and love" ? If it's only for prices it's not really much help. Unless, as Nomoss says, you can work out if a station is shown or not.

https://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr/
I passed by our local fuel station a couple of hours ago and it had no fuel at all.
On checking the site it is no longer shown, not on the list nor on the map.
We have 60 litres in one car's tank and 30 litres in the other, so hoping we can hold out if we make minimum trips.

I have a 1600km round trip to do leaving thursday for the Vosges. Then the rallye over three days.
I have 20 litres of gasoil and 15 litres of SP98 in the back of the tow car. Will keep topping up where possible on the autoroutes.
Almost all of the trip is on the autoroute.

Try https://mon-essence.fr/ instead. It shows when there is no fuel and also the date of the last price update
