Thank you, good to know. We saw many ads for homes in Juillac. We never ended up going there, but I'm sure we will at some point in the future.

Well done, and hope you spend many happy years there.
We will be almost neighbours (about an hour from Brive)

Thank you MOTM2. It really is a beautiful area. We traveled about 30 minutes from Brive in all directions (North, South, East and West). We liked almost every place we visited. A few were just so remote and the curvy, tiny roads you had to drive to get to them made them unappealing to us. They were attractive enough, but the thought of having to drive on these tiny roads, surrounded by huge trees, in the dark of night or during periods of ice/snow was not for us. It wasn't the easiest thing in broad daylight, driving a Twingo !!
I hope you are feeling better and are on the mend.

Well done - you have beaten me - why does the compromis always differ from the agent's initial sales spiel?

I understand, Souillac which we pass through to visit Brive is very high, twisty & turns. Lovely views though.Lori wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 5:28 pm Thank you MOTM2. It really is a beautiful area. Thank you, I see the surgeon tomorrow at Toulouse so hoping I find out what treatment options I have.
