Carbon monoxide alarm
Which reminds me.
Anyone actually ever counted how many batteries we have to maintain in our homes these days? I'll bet its more than you would imagine.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

I guessed 20 and it's well more than that.
2 cars 2
1 laptop 3
9 tablets and phones 12
16 remote controls 28
4 power tools 32 - and I try and avoid battery tools because they get used infrequently and inevitably have no charge when you need them
4 clocks 36
1 kitchen timer 37
2 Hearing aids 39
There are probably a few in addition plus of course all those Christmas lights that are battery driven.

I buy all of our batteries from Amazon.fr the Amazon Basics range - just had 100 AAs for 25,84 euros delivered as I have a lot of Christmas lights that take 3 AAs each, halloween lights & lamps and garden lights

Holy Cow! You guys must have your own battery bin at the dechetterie.
Word of advice. Don't be tempted by very cheap multipacks of TOPcell batteries at Action. "Super Extra Heavy Duty" my arse.
one of their AA size lasts less than a month in my kitchen clock, and their performance in a computer mouse is equally dire.

Kitchen 19, lounge 15, beds 21, vehicles inc mower 5.............
That's not including IT stuff, phones & power tools which could easily add another 10.
Cheers Hotrodder , look what you've started

1 phone, I remote, 2 clocks, 1 tablet, 1 hoover, 1 screwdriver, 2 smoke alarms, 2 cars. Total 11. So not too bad compared to others.

Carbon monoxide alarm
I bought several packs of Duracell from Amazon some time back. They were well in date but didn't last long in anything, when I complained to the supplier I was reimbursed very quickly, and was told to dump the rest of my order, made me wonder if they were snides, I just get them as and when now from Super U.
