@Coldonat I'll post on that as soon as we hear. The Nice Young Man I spoke to originally pointed me to a form on the site for adding an account holder, so it's clearly possible.

Just received an update of terms and conditions from Lloyds Bank.
EU Exit. If you are no longer a UK resident, we may have to close your account or offer a different level of service and have updated our conditions to reflect this.

UK bank account(s) closure
I still have no idea what to do............. I've written to Wise 3 times now. So looked again and wrote to HSBC last week - nothing, then I tried Moneycorp - nothing.
Time is marching by and this is proving to be a very difficult exercise. Can anyone advise please?
My needs are very simple - I just need a holding account where my UK interests can be put until I transfer over here, to France. It's not a huge amount of money, just my UK pension and rental income. I could, as already discussed, get my pension transferred directly but then I still have the other amounts.

So why have they not responded to my enquiry? When I wrongly wrote to them about one of their services, they responded within 24 hours. But I wrote again last Thursday - am I expecting too much?

They are probably overwhelmed at the moment with 2 major competitors deciding to close EU accounts and announcing that during the holidays.

Don't forget there is/has been a postal strike in UK. We mailed some ID to them last Tuesday which they obviously haven't got as we have been asked to confirm details on line

@exile
I think that's right - it took HSBC 2 or three weeks to turn us down.
I'm not sure what they expect from new customers - millions? Whatever. We still haven't heard from Nationwide about OH, although he's said he'll have stuff paid into my account if the worst comes to the worst. Wise and the other Forex companies are no good to us as they're not UK banks.
