It looks like a new law to allow voting for non-French in Municipals is being proposed

That would please me and make me feel even more part of our community. It was a sad loss when Brexit stopped that from happening.

I do hope it comes to be. It would reinstate our feeling of being part of the community.

That'll be good, because we've lost our right to vote, last week our maire told OH and my daughter to phone our Queen if we have any problems and not to bother him.

Thankfully we are in a much more understanding commune* but that exemplifies where we are as a group.

*Though I am sure there are individuals who do think like that.
