@Char - not just in France. DTP (+boosters) for children from infancy, + measles.
Our older daughter has a Hepatitis vaccination every 3 months + something else (TB?). Probably applies to Pathca too, even though different countries.

That is the state telling you what you must do to help protect yourself. Compulsory vaccination against covid is the state telling you what you must do to help protect society. Surely that is more important than simple self preservation.
Not the same - don't want to wear a seatbelt then don't get in a car. Your job mandates a vaccine and you don't want it - resign. With this there is no element of choice.

“Wearing a mask is the most effective way in which the public can curb coronavirus cases, a study has found. Global research has found that masks can slash incidences of infection by 53 per cent. The first systematic review of its kind, a meta-analysis published in the BMJ, has found that non-pharmaceutical measures, such as mask-wearing, social distancing and handwashing, are all effective at keeping infection numbers down.
Researchers at Monash University in Australia and the University of Edinburgh found that wearing masks was the most effective of the three and have called for their use alongside vaccines.”
Do you have a link for the quote please Rabbit? I would like to put it in front of someone who thinks masks are just a fashion statement. [Prat that he is.]
Here is the link. Probably behind a paywall. If you can’t access it PM me and I will copy it to you. Incidentally there was a medical professional on NFF who insisted that mak wearing was a waste of time.

If you live out in the sticks there is equally no choice. I know it does not apply in Lausanne nor indeed in much of Suffolk nor St Y.
I was forced to have a Yellow Fever jab because I had to go to Venezuela. Did I have choice? Not really, though I suppose I could have resigned and probably been divorced since no job = no life-style and all over a silly jab.

I heard a doctor a couple of weeks ago talking about all of the fuss over covid vaccination. Should I, Should I not? What are the side effects? Could it affect my fertility? Is it really necessary? and so on.

When cannabis and its extracts were legalised for specific conditions, the number one question was?

How do I catch epilepsy?

46,800 new cases.
199 deaths.
Talk about manipulation of figures now they say that cases are lower both cases and deaths.
How can anyone believe whats on both the news or papers.

I needed to prove that I had been vaccinated/had immunity to measles, mumps and rubella. I gained my immunity the hard way so I had to have blood tests for the anti bodies. I had my BCG but don’t have a scar so had to pay for a Heaf test. I was considered to have had enough tetanus boosters to not need anymore, and I was told after my last Hep B booster I won’t need any more

There are a few independent sites that do give a fairly accurate world wide picture

Clearly whatever source anyone quotes these days will get criticism from someone. Another negative side effect of the wonderful internet. Every source of correct, incorrect, or sheer fantasy news is available to everyone on the planet. You pays your money and takes your choice. Then armed with the info go out and seek an argument about the content.

When this life and death pandemic started up this was a handy source for those who like stats.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Yes, we forget with all the attention on Austria and Germany that Ireland is also up near the top of the numbers list in terms of new cases.

Indeed, the Health Service Executive Chief Executive is reported as saying hard choices may have to be made as to who doctors treat - which I guess then begs the question should vaccinated patients be given priority over the unvaccinated in such an event?
