I had a spate of blackmail ones, accusing me of looking at porn on line, and they said they had webcam footage to prove it - which is not possible. :roll:

A small lump of blu-tak on the little lense on your laptop will prevent such things effectively. It might be a bit more involved with the new "smart" domestic appliances though, but still worthwhile to try. Those of you with Alexa type spies in your homes deserve all you get.

That’s how they got my username/password , LinkedIn breach. The first demand, several years ago with a password was quite a shock, but I didn’t bite. If you’ve been Pwned expect spam on the mail address for ever.

We have two la-post accounts, just got an email supposedly from them as the need to make our online use more secure, just need to put in our account number then code and they will send the new secure details.
Are people really stupid enough to fall for this scam?
