I'm hoping your two finger offering is never misunderstood.Blaze wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 11:19 amI agree about hands - and, yes, people don't wash their hands after going to the loo. I usually have some gel with me. When I shake hands with adults, I tend to give 2 fingers because whilst I like a firm handshake, my hands are more sensitive than they used to be !

Covid cases rising ...
Since November I've been suffering with something don't know what but don't think it's covid just a wet hacking cough which cleared after about 3 weeks only to pick up a really bad cold, then my knee gave way coming down the stairs fortunately I grabbed the rail but pulled a muscle (s) in my right side which gave me serious jip for a week as I couldn't yawn, take a deep breath, coughing & sneezing were killers and to top it I couldn't lie down so spent the nights in an armchair which drove me potty. Having just got over all of that I've now got sniffles, a dry cough and I'm sneezing alot again (I'm not feeling sorry for myself) Until last summer we isolated over the covid period - no bar or restaurant visits no health problems it's only since our revisits that I've picked up these little b**gers! I've decided that this summer our little barn in the garden will become a wine/beer bar and I'm going to get a plaque made calling it........ The Staying Inn'
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

@Sparkle I think mask-wearing for so long, whilst protecting us from Covid, made us become less resistant to all the sniffles and bugs going round. Some people will have less resistance than others.
It might be worth seeing your doc, particularly because it's dragged on for so long - he'll probably smack your wrists for not coming earlier
Hope you feel better soon

Hoping you are on the mend Sparkle, doesn't sound pleasant at all. I love your The Staying Inn idea.
