I learned a new phrase this morning. I was listening to the Sunday morning vet on France Bleu Azur when she said “C’est une autre paire de manches”.
I couldn’t imagine what it meant in relation to cats, so looked it up.
“A different kettle of fish” was the answer. So, if anyone can tell me the origin of the English expression, I’ll be very pleased. Meanwhile back to the packing boxes.
