Well certainly the nurse today was fully in Blue Monday mode - she spent 30 minutes trying to stick an oversized cannula into my vein (which her colleague managed two months previously) only to blame it on my veins.

Then her colleague told her the correct size to use - but it now had to go in the other arm.

Things can only get better . . .

I had to leave for work at 7am this morning - extremely windy and very wet .... and a huge tree blocking the road All down to Storm Gérard apparently.
Can't say today has felt gloomy .... !

Ouch! Shades of the anaesthetist at Bordeaux before my eye op in 2021. She made a right botch of the 'calming' jab then simpered 'You'll remember me, won't you?' Too b***** right I do!
