I'm using a hand-me-down laptop from daughter after my previous one died a year or so ago, and the most important signs on this one - the "at" and the "euro" don't work, and it drives me nuts!!
Not sure about your area being the same (this is France :D ) but Boulanger have a definite edge over Darty round here and Leclerc beat them all hands down, as long as you know what spec to look for and what to avoid.
There wouldn't be a biscuit crumb or speck of choccie or two under the keys, perhaps? :D

No, we've tried that - wish it were so! Darty is on our doorstep, and I'm not looking for the latest spec., so an older model may be a bargain. Thanks for the advice though.

It's the pension payout that's brought on this wild spending spree, is it? You little divil, you.... ;)

Yeah, got it in one. I spent 25 quid yesterday! Wild spending indeed.
Actually, I've been investing in cold weather gear over the last month or so. It'll probably be a balmy winter as a result.

My missus calls me a moron.
When it gets cold I put more on.
I am spending more on tools than clothes.

So it should be. Whilst inadvisable to use a power tool when naked, one doesn't need haute couture when flat on your back under whatever takes your fancy.

Ooo-er, I like your thinking. Forget the car.
