Going back to the original headline of 14 days off sick vs 4 days figures.

How many office workers are confronted daily by contagious diseases in their workplace?

Same question for workers in the health industry.

The data may well be correct - but an explanation may be equally apparent.

Office workers tend to be Monday to Friday 9-5 .Weekends and bank holidays off Health workers work (some part of ) 24/7 365 days a year,long stretches sometimes without a break long days etc. Dealing with some stressful situations ,life and death ,aggression etc
Those figures were from before Covid well it wasn’t a walk in the park even back then I can assure you
