I understood the new 100€ would only be paid through France income, or is this the same as last years minimum of € 48 and a maximum of € 277? I am confused because there is no 100€ payment for this.

I've been accused of just that ie quoting media.
Nearly all of my info comes from either the uk gov sites or french gouv sites. Although how bojo gives out lies and more lies who's to believe the uk gov sites.

I'll admit I haven't really followed up on Macron's initial announcement, so no doubt the distribution of the payment has evolved since then. As he promised it to low-income workers first, via their employers, then chomeurs, via the sécu, then pensioners, via their caisse, it was logical to assume that Brit pensioners who've never worked here aren't affiliated to a French pension caisse. So the question was 'Would we receive it, and if so, how?' Silly me, I thought that was the answer It's a shame that he didn't feel able to knock a few cents off the price of carburant, though. Diesel prices going through the roof have a knock-on effect on the cost of living generally.

I filled up with petrol the other day and was absolutely stunned at the cost, think it was about 1.76€, thank Christ we hardly go anywhere now.

I didn't think that we got about much, but diesel has become our third-largest outgoing after Taxe Foncière and electricity The revolution will start when we can no longer afford the (reduced size) sachets of Felix. And our sole income is a UK pension and we get the €100. If we get it paid twice this year it makes up for that scumbag IDS pinching our winter fuel allowance.

Mmmm, that still stings. Especially when you keep an eye on comparitive temperatures in UK and SW France and UK is warmer. But that still begs the question as to whether Brit pensioners will receive the indemnité contre l'inflation and if so, how?
