If you want a good laugh

#11 Post by Liz »

I turn off.
Cannot be bothered.
The brother of my hubby is 100% persona non grata throughout the whole family. It happens. The saddest letter I have ever read is the letter my late mother in law dictated to her solicitor explaining why her first born son was not to inherit a single penny.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

EDIT: To make clear, my criticism is with the Telegraph - but up to par with my expectations of the UK press.
Well, I've just quickly scanned the article & can't see any reference to MH issues, real or imagined.

I don’t personally know this couple that are being targeted by the right wing press in the uk and neither does anybody on this forum, so why make unsubstantiated comments about them?

It’s not unsubstantiated if it’s things they have said themselves

Plus someone who has repeated complained about the level of protection that they as a couple have been afforded, and then writes that he has personally killed 25 Taliban terrorists (members if you feel sensitive) and then likens it to removing chess pieces from the board, needs a very heavy dose of common sense and sensitivity drilled into them.

You are of course allowed to believe this is normal behaviour.

Dave you keep referring to "unsubstantiated" and " rumours". Perhaps you are unaware that the Spanish version "En la Sombre" has inadvertently been issued 5 days too soon. What we report has not come from the Daily H but from the book. Any views are his and (perhaps) his alone but they are his view of events and not speculation.

The "inadvertent" publication of The Book in Spain has hit headlines all around the world, so it's not uniquely the UK right wing press who are targeting the couple. The stories contain direct quotes from The Book, his words, so why shouldn't people comment on them ?

As for making unsubstantiated comments on people we don't know, isn't that what most people do when discussing politicians or anyone in the public eye ?

I think the seeds have been sown for Harry's demise, the admission of his killing of these Taliban insurgents has already provoked a reaction from the Afghan rulers. Just a case of seeking out another tunnel he can be taken down, who knows.
