As I recall 98 is only 5% ethanol. So better. All green washing and revenue raising.

Higher octain rating as well I believe.
I've always used 98 as recommended by our local garage/fuel supplier & never had a starting or carb problem.

I read this a couple of days before I needed to start up my Honda outboard. Third pull and it was purring like a kitten. It’s always run on 95 E10.
