LaPoste would be wasting their time sending a code to our fixed phone. It doesn't receive text messages.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

It's a Livebox Play, supplied by SOSH/Orange.

I didn't explain well .. the Bank makes an automatic phone call to our home phone speaking the necessary code .. which will be repeated if necessary.
Ours is a female voice .. totally automatic.
One of our French banks will do the same, if needed; but we have a good mobile signal here so have opted to use that method.

If you open your email page there should be an arrow for a drop down menu which includes SMS/MMS - can you not receive tests via that?

That is the system that Wise (aka Transferwise) uses now and it works well. Such a shame LaPoste don't do it.

My email is handled by Mozilla Thunderbird and there is no such facility. Anyway, the responses I have had so far from LaPoste is that it is a text to a mobile or nothing. No suggestion of an email which would be my preferred solution. Quick and easy. But hey ho, this is France.

this past week we have had a problem receiving ‘one time’ access codes from our U.K. bank to log in to our account. I had to resort to using the little card reader thingy to get access to our account. I will tweet them on Tuesday to find out what’s going wrong.
That wouldn't be RBS by any chance. Their codes are not making it through to the wife's phone at the moment.
Natwest - but arent they part of RBS?
