I just finished my lunch that I ate in the garden. Homemade mulligatawny soup with some samosas from Inter. Sublime.

Roast lamb shanks with pommes de terre dauphinoises, cabbage, cauliflower cheese and roast tomatoes. Dessert was treacle sponge pudding and custard from Waitrose. It did seem a lot, but we both had good appetites after our walk.

Last night was curried sweet potato, broccoli, onion with coconut milk stew over basmati rice. Tonight will be fresh baby spinach, kalamata olives, feta, red onion and olive oil on whole grain rigatoni.

Peking Duck
We substitute the Chinese duck with confit de canard and crisp-up the skin. Put On a Chinese pancake with batons of cucumber and spring onion and a drizzle of hoisin sauce

Same here, rabbit, sometimes with home-made plum sauce or orange sauce based on HM marmalade :) Going to try confit de canard in the Ninja thingy for the first time tonight. Recently, even on max heat, the mini oven hasn't crisped up the skin properly and I know it's not the duck's fault because I do that myself, too :D

We use a Ninja to heat the duck and crisp the skin. It is best to separate the skin and crisp separately
