I got a RDV at the local pharmacy this afternoon for a Covid booster jab.
They tell me they've got the Moderna vaccine which is compatible with my two original Pfizer doses.
Hope they're right

Ours is timed for the second week of November, hope its like the first two, moderna.

I had my third Pfizer last Monday,by far the majority of boosters in the UK will be Pfizer but there is some flexibility

Got mine last week. An hour long procedure at the Salle Communal, forms, blood pressure tests and temperature checks. Noticed 8 young teenagers getting theirs.

We've got our flu jabs booked for Friday at the Pharmacy, at the same time I will book us there for the booster in November.

Most of the people coming through the vaccination centre in Saint Malo are 3rd timers. We're only getting about 150 a day so there is little or no waiting time before being done.

I was in & out of our chemist's in not more than 10 minutes & that included picking up some stuff my missus had ordered.
Tell 'em who I was, hand over CV, taken to 'back room', see young chap doing jabs, take off shirt, stick needle in me arm, certificate printed out whilst I put shirt back on, shown the way out via 'back door' with a fist bump & a " see you sometime for flue jab".
I got there 20 mins early & was back home 5 minutes after the actual time of the RDV.
Notice in chemist's entrance saying 'vaccination sans RDV today' so obviously not that busy.

That's not how it's done at our centre ! RV by appointment, temperature taken before being allowed into the waiting area. Those who need/want to see a doctor sit in one queue, everyone else in another. Not sure exactly what goes on in the "boxes" but when they come out, there's a 15 minute wait or longer for some people. There were quite a lot of malaises a while ago with first dosers, mostly psychological verging on hysteria but so far no problems with the 2nd and 3rd dosers. Anyone wanting to leave straight away has to sign a décharge. If someone collapses in the car park, we (SNSM) could be held responsible ....

I’m due a booster at the beginning of November. The first two jabs were Astra Zenica, anybody know if the third will be the same or one of the Rna vaccines?

[mention]DaveW[/mention] It depends on where you are vaccinated and I believe they are no longer doing AZ in France. Our vaccine centre is using Pfizer-BioNTech (COMIRNATY) which would appear to be compatible with other vaccines. Best to ask your doc or wherever you will have it done.
