Me & Mrs LAF have just had our anti Covid jabs no.5
We're still not sure if it was a good idea as popular opinion seems about 50/50 in favour/against further jabs. The jabbing pharmacist said the take up was not as good? as for the first 4 but agreed with our MT that it's best to take it.
Jab no.4 laid up my missus for a day but so far I've had no adverse reaction to any of the previous 4.

Well having now had (I am pretty certain) Covid* and suffered for 6 weeks and more. I think one day or two feeling a bit grim is a small price to pay for improved protection.
* I was feeling grotty for the best part of a week and spent most of it in bed. A week later OH was hospitalised and tested +ve. I tested negative at that time but still had a hacking cough. That cough, plus a continuous runny, blocked nose plus sinus pains lasted for another 6 weeks and is only now showing signs of disappearing. Over all of that time I have been low on energy and have often had to resort to an afternoon sleep (longer than a nap).
We were both due our 5th mid January but that is now mid March.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mother's death in hospital two years ago, with Covid, whilst Fixit and I were very ill at home and at the point of being sent to hospital when we turned the corner. Took months for us to recover, and we will never know if his continuing eyesight problems are a result of Covid, or if Covid accelerated a dormant issue or whatever.
We are die a booster next month and will def. take it.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

Condolences for your loss. Must have been a terrible time for you. So many lost loved ones.
As expected, I'm fine & she is in bed " feeling like sh*t" to quote a very p'd off woman.
It's our 4th & 5th jab using the Pfizer Biontech vaccine & both have had adverse reactions on her but none on me.

I always react badly .. I have been told it's because I have bad arthritis - which is an auto-immune disease.
OTOH my other half gets away with just a sore arm for a day of so.
