Apologies if this info has been posted before. Received my usual letter to go get my poo test kit from either the Doctor or the pharmacy or online via the site below. As our Dr's receptionist is a bit of a witch I thought I'll collect from the pharmacy then I thought well why not make this simple and have a go ordering on line. Actually it was a doddle to order & should arrive within 15 days. You can also get your results on-line quickly if you sign up to the site.

I did the dépistage a couple of weeks ago and my doctor called me yesterday morning to say it was positive. No big deal because I have history of colon tests, the great thing is he sent mail to the local hospital GI team. I got a phone call to arrange an appointment for today with a fantastic GI and I have a gastro and colonoscopy scheduled for next Thursday.

Can’t fault the systems, just hope I’m in the clear.

Also don't worry : if a really serious thing shows up you will be contacted and taken on board asap. If it's just minor you will still be investigated but they don't rush so fast. Your GP will reassure you.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?
