Happy anniversary

Our old rescue dog Bob went for his second annual vaccination yesterday & the vet reminded us it was a year ago that we carried the very ill chap into the surgery to seek their help.
He stayed on a drip, for 3 days & it was found he had a tumour on his liver. The prognosis was so bad we dug his grave next to our other deceased pets & awaited the worst.
Yesterday the vet checked him over & remarked how fit & well he seemed. We didn't ask for a scan on his liver as it's innoperable & 'what will be will be'. At the moment he's fighting fit & runs around & plays like a young 'un.
The vet's parting remark was, " see you in a year's time".
Here's hoping miracles do happen.
