Lucky you Polly they showed the first 90 minutes and then showed the news on TF1 - No extra time coverage - Madame OBR and her daughter are outraged - I'm going to get an ear bashing about French TV for the rest of the evening - rightly so

I was close to welling up when the girls finally won.
Never got anywhere near that emotion with any mens team.

Haven't watched a game of football in years. Turned on the telly just as it was about to start and thought, what the heck, might as well keep it on for a minute or two to see what the hype is about.
What a game! Real football as it used to be played. No diving, no histrionics, jaw dropping speed and athleticism. Wow, just wow.

I thought it was in the evening so didn't even consider it. If TF1 only showed up to full time, I'd have thought they'd do the usual and switch coverage to another channel.
I have to say England's goalscorers sound distinctly Irish...
