@ Bayleaf, that barbed wire sound of one of the organists even reached the small town of Arnstadt in Germany where the statue of the young Johan Sebastian Bach almost fell backwards in amazement. Has this organist in Paris gone completely mad? Ist er verrückt geworden?

Lefigaro this morning is more diplomatic: " Mgr Laurent Ulrich, archevêque de Paris, a adressé des invocations à l’orgue à huit reprises. Les quatre organistes se sont ensuite relayés pour répondre en improvisant des airs. Chacun ont joué à leur façon pour montrer toutes les palettes de l’orgue. "
