A bit of hedge trimming, cutting back a huge ivy lump which is over a tall concrete post, now the birds have stopped nesting, it has a number of birds use it during the year.

A picnic lunch with our sea shanty group chez nous in the garden. The French are brilliant at picnics - everyone brings their own table, chairs, cutlery etc. One (Spanish) member of the group does paellas for events, so he has all his own equipment, we just provide the venue. Anyone who's listening gets a free concert but we have warned our neighbours

Taking the faithful old electric mower, that gave up the ghost yesterday, to the dechetterie and looking for a replacement in Leclerc. Followed by cleaning the faded headlamps on the car using bicarbonate of soda - as shown on youtube

then laying down some reptile repellent on the terrace to keep the increasing number of lizards at bay. After that Madame OBR has promised to to give me another opportunity to try and best her over nine holes at the golf club. (Maybe l'll win this time

Just got back from Brico Depot - didn't get half of what we wanted, most of the shelves were empty and their prices have sky rocketed - 20 + euros for a 4 meter length of copper piping
someone's having a giraffe, not paying that much for it. I suppose it's due to covid.
