Maybe most of us are permanent residents rather than holiday homeowners.

Blimey! you had me thinking that, as a permanent resident of 20 years, the question was for holiday homeowners only & I'd ticked by mistake.
But no, I'm OK. The question clearly said "Which departement do you live/have a holiday home in"

I entered 52 Haute-Marne, where (before my knee replacement) we spent 3 week in 4.
The other is 71 Saône-et-Loire where we usually pass the other week. I notice someone else is there.

Clearly, both Departments are important to us.

No one in Normandie - that does surprise me. Always thought of it as a bit of a hotspot for UK escapees.
